The Arsenal SAM7R OD Green Cerakote 7.62x39mm rifle (Arsenal part no. SAM7R64GN) comes from Arsenal’s Custom Shop, where the SAM7R-64 is finished in Arsenal Cerakote and shipped with a 30-round factory polymer magazine. Arsenal lists the OD Green version as the SAM7R-64GN, with an OD Green stock and an OD Green M-47WG magazine. The rifle has a 16.3-inch barrel, a threaded 14x1mm left-hand muzzle with a removable muzzle brake and a two-stage FIME Enhanced Fire Control Group. Arsenal limited each color to 100 units, so it suits an AK buyer who wants something less common than the standard polymer-color builds.

Key Specifications

• Chambering is 7.62x39mm, the classic AK cartridge for a mid-power rifle.
• The finish is Arsenal OD Green Cerakote, applied by Arsenal’s Custom Shop rather than relying on colored polymer alone.
• The barrel is 16.3 inches, cold hammer-forged on Steyr technology with a hard-chrome plated bore and chamber.
• Rifling is 1:9.44 twist with four grooves, the rate Arsenal specifies for this barrel.
• The muzzle is threaded 14x1mm left-hand with a removable muzzle brake, so the brake can be swapped for another device with that thread.
• A two-stage FIME Enhanced Fire Control Group is installed, which shortens trigger travel for a smoother pull.
• The receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer-forged blank, which Arsenal says gives stronger, finer-grained steel.
• Capacity is 30 rounds with the included original factory OD Green polymer M-47WG magazine.
• The stock is an OD Green intermediate-length polymer buttstock with a cleaning kit compartment and a 13.4-inch length of pull.
• A side-attached scope rail is standard, and the rifle ships with a sling, oil bottle, cleaning rod and cleaning kit.
