Specializing in gunsmithing for most modern modular handguns and the AR platform, we offer expert services and custom-build AR rifles tailored to each customer’s needs.
Our Story
From Hobby to Business
What started as a passion among friends, collaborating on rifle builds, training at the range, and sharing gear reviews, eventually grew into Schaefer Defense. Fueled by a desire to provide access to quality firearms and gear at fair prices, we decided to turn our hobby into a business.
Founded in 2022 in Florida, Schaefer Defense has since relocated to Texas, where it continues to grow. Today, a small but dedicated team of three employees manages everything from online orders and inventory to marketing and gunsmithing. Our focus remains on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and crafting a unique experience for each individual we serve.
