Gunsmithing and Rifle Building

From full custom rifle builds to trigger installations, Schaefer Defense offers comprehensive gunsmithing services for the AR platform and most modular handguns. Our labor rates typically start at $20 per half hour ($40 per hour), depending on the complexity of the project.

Firearm Transfers

Whether you’ve purchased a firearm through us or from another dealer, we offer firearm transfer services for individuals in the local area. Our transfer fee is $20 per firearm, which includes the background check cost.

A copy of our FFL is available upon request if needed.​
