Sierra Tipped MatchKing Rifle Bullets, .284 Cal .284-Inch 160gr TMK (500ct) (brand part no. 7660C) crown Sierra’s Tipped MatchKing (TMK) line, an enhancement Sierra made to a segment of the MatchKing family by adding an acetal resin tip. The main advantage of that tip is reduced drag, which produces a more favorable ballistic coefficient than an equivalent standard MatchKing. The tip also delivers reliable feeding in magazine-fed firearms, a real advantage over a hollow-point-only profile in a semi-auto or bolt gun fed from a box magazine. As with the rest of the MatchKing family, Sierra does not recommend this 160-grain bullet for most hunting applications.
