Sierra MatchKing Rifle Bullets, 7mm/.284, .284-Inch 168gr HPBT (500ct) (brand part no. 1930C) carry the reputation Sierra has built over decades for accuracy and superior ballistic performance. MatchKing is the classification Sierra reserves for its pre-eminent target bullets, and every design decision behind this 168-grain hollow point boat tail is built around one goal: accuracy. The jackets are drawn thin to an exacting concentricity standard of 0.0003 inch maximum variation, and weight is held to within plus or minus 0.3 grain bullet to bullet. A small meplat and boat tail shape combine to deliver a high ballistic coefficient that minimizes drag and resists wind drift downrange. Sierra does not recommend MatchKing bullets for most hunting applications, since they’re built and tested specifically for target accuracy.
