The Faxon Firearms Match Series Barrel (brand part no. 15BARC75M16NGQ-5R-NP3) is a 16-inch AR-15 barrel chambered in 6mm ARC. Faxon machines this barrel in-house from gun-barrel-quality bar stock, starting with 416-R stainless steel cut with 5R rifling, a hybrid style with lands opposite grooves that reduces bullet jacket deformation for better velocity retention and easier cleaning. After rigorous testing, the bore is nitride treated inside and out to lock in accuracy and extend barrel life, and the extension is coated in nickel Teflon for dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and a tighter fit against the receiver. Built by FAXON FIREARMS, this Match Series barrel is built for duty, competition, and precision use alike.
