The Sierra MatchKing .22 Cal Bullets, 52 gr Hollow Point Boat Tail (Sierra part no. 1410) are Sierra‘s pre-eminent target bullets, sized at .224 in. and sold 100 to a box for handloaders building precision .22-caliber ammunition. Every MatchKing jacket is drawn to a tight 0.0003 in. maximum concentricity variation, and bullet weight is held to within 0.3 grain. This 52-grain version carries the boat-tail shape Sierra uses on most of its MatchKing line to further minimize drag and improve ballistic coefficient. Sierra builds and recommends this bullet specifically for target shooting rather than hunting use.
