The Sierra MatchKing .22 Cal Bullets, 69 gr Hollow Point Boat Tail (Sierra part no. 1380) are Sierra‘s pre-eminent target bullets, sized at .224 in. and sold 100 to a box for handloaders building precision .22-caliber ammunition. Every MatchKing jacket is drawn to a tight 0.0003 in. maximum concentricity variation, and bullet weight is held to within 0.3 grain. At 69 grains, this is a heavier MatchKing option than Sierra’s 52- and 53-grain .22 Cal versions, giving it a higher ballistic coefficient for less wind drift at long range. Sierra builds and recommends this bullet specifically for target shooting rather than hunting use.
