The Sierra Varminter .223 caliber 45-grain Jacketed Soft Point Boat Tail bullet (Sierra part no. 1110) is designed specifically for the .22 Hornet cartridge. Sierra’s Varminter series targets varmint hunters who want consistent expansion at Hornet-class velocities, with published ballistic coefficients across three velocity bands so handloaders can predict trajectory accurately whether they’re shooting close or stretching the Hornet’s legs.
