Description
The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 Elite 9mm pistol pairs a 10-inch black nitride threaded barrel with an OD Green anodized aluminum receiver and an SB Tactical SBA5 brace (Freedom Ordnance part no. FX9P10E-ODG). The Elite takes the standard FX-9 and adds upgrades out of the box: a redesigned free-float M-LOK rail that uses BCM barrel nut and mounting hardware, a B5 Systems grip, a Warhammer ambidextrous charging handle and the Elite flash hider Freedom Ordnance designed in house. It is a blowback 9mm that feeds from Glock-type magazines and keeps an AR-15 safety selector and pistol grip, so it runs like the AR you already know. Freedom Ordnance machines it from billet aluminum, builds it in the USA and backs it with a limited lifetime warranty, which makes it a strong fit for range days, pistol-caliber competition and home defense.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which magazines does the FX-9 Elite take? It feeds from Glock-type 9mm magazines, so the same magazines that run in Glock-pattern 9mm handguns work here.
Is it set up for left-handed shooters? Freedom Ordnance designs the FX-9 for right-handed use and advises left-handed shooters to consider that before buying, since some features may not suit them. The Warhammer charging handle is ambidextrous.
What ammunition runs best in it? Freedom Ordnance recommends 115-grain FMJ and select hollow points to start, and warns against aluminum-case ammunition, Zinc Point ammunition and non-jacketed lead bullets, which can cause damage or void the warranty.
