The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 Elite 4-inch OD Green is a 9mm AR-pattern pistol with a 4-inch barrel, fitted with the SBA5 brace (brand part no. FX9P4E-ODG). Freedom Ordnance designs the FX-9 as a blowback-operated, modular platform that feeds from Glock-type magazines and keeps the familiar AR-15 safety selector and pistol grip. This Elite version adds a B5 Systems grip, a Warhammer ambidextrous charging handle, an Elite flash hider and an angled fore grip out of the box. The 4-inch barrel is a good match for close-quarters handling, vehicle storage and a compact home-defense build. This example is finished in OD Green, one of the colors Freedom Ordnance offers on the FX-9 line.
