The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 Elite 8-inch OD Green is a 9mm AR-pattern pistol with an 8-inch barrel, fitted with the SBA5 brace (brand part no. FX9P8E-ODG). It comes from Freedom Ordnance in Indiana, which builds the FX-9 around a blowback action, Glock-type magazines and AR-15 controls that most shooters already know. This Elite version adds a B5 Systems grip, a Warhammer ambidextrous charging handle, an Elite flash hider and an angled fore grip out of the box. The 8-inch barrel is a good match for a middle ground between compact size and barrel length for range days and home defense. This example is finished in OD Green, one of the colors Freedom Ordnance offers on the FX-9 line.
