The Colt Python .357 Magnum 5-Inch Blued Revolver, Walnut Gold Medallion Grips (Colt part no. PYTHON-BP5WTS) is a 5-inch blued Python with a full-lug barrel, walnut grips and a red ramp front sight. The solid steel frame and polished blue finish are matched with a double/single-action trigger. The mid-length barrel balances portability against sight radius, which makes it a sensible choice for the range, home defense and general-purpose use. It builds on the Snake Gun legacy that Colt revived with the modern Python, and it ships as a six-round .357 Magnum revolver.
