The Colt Python .357 Magnum 2.5-Inch Matte Blued Revolver, Walnut Grips (Colt part no. PYTHON-BM2WTS) is a 2.5-inch matte blued Python with classic panel walnut grips and a gold Colt medallion. A carbon steel frame, ventilated rib, recessed target crown and red ramp front sight give the short barrel a full Python sight picture. At this length it is a revolver for concealed carry, home defense and close-range work, where a short barrel keeps it easy to handle and holster. It builds on the Snake Gun legacy that Colt revived with the modern Python, and it ships as a six-round .357 Magnum revolver.
