The Savage 334 350 Legend walnut rifle gives the straight-wall bolt gun a satin-finished Turkish walnut stock and a silver bolt in place of the all-black synthetic version (brand part no. 23292). Underneath the wood it is the same Savage 334 action: a matte black carbon steel receiver with an integrated recoil lug, three locking lugs, a 60-degree bolt lift and a three-position safety. The 18-inch heavy sporter barrel is button rifled, free floating and crowned at 11 degrees, and the receiver carries a steel MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail from the factory. A 3-round detachable box magazine with an ambidextrous release handles feeding. It is a traditional-looking deer rifle for straight-wall states that still mounts a scope in minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does this differ from the synthetic 334? The action, 18-inch barrel and 3-round magazine are the same; this version carries a satin Turkish walnut stock and a silver bolt instead of a black synthetic stock and black bolt.

Is the receiver drilled for a scope? It goes further than that: a steel MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail is installed at the factory, so rings go straight on.

Will the wood match the photo exactly? Savage notes that walnut is a natural material and colour variation between stocks should be expected.
