The MDT Field Stock for the Savage Axis short action in FDE (MDT part no. 108682FDE) is a traditionally shaped polymer rifle stock with an aluminum V-block bedding system. It replaces the factory plastic stock, which improves accuracy and ergonomics, and it is AICS magazine compatible. The adjustable buttstock gives you a cheek riser and length of pull spacers, and an M-LOK forend lets you add accessories. MDT presents it as a budget-friendly stock for field and hunting use. Installation is a matter of dropping the action in and tightening two screws.
