The MDT XRS Chassis (MDT part no. 104692BLK) is a black aluminum chassis built for short-action Savage rifles, combining a full-length CNC-machined aluminum core with textured polymer side panels for a traditional stock feel with modern chassis performance. MDT built the XRS with a precision aluminum V-block bedding system to maximize accuracy from any short-action Savage, along with a quick-adjust cheekpiece for dialing in scope height and an adjustable length of pull from 13.25 to over 15 inches. The chassis accepts standard AICS-pattern magazines through an ambidextrous magazine latch, and it ships with both an angled grip and a vertical grip so shooters can choose their preferred hand position. A 12-inch M-LOK forend rounds out the package with room for ARCA or Picatinny rail sections and other accessories.
