The Sierra Varminter .22 Cal 50gr Spitzer Bullet (brand part no. 1330) is a component rifle bullet built for rapid expansion and instant kills on larger varmints and small game. Varminter bullets are designed specifically for rapid expansion and instant kills on larger varmints and small game. Sierra builds them with thin jackets to enhance expansion while keeping enough strength to handle the highest muzzle velocities in the cartridges they are intended for. This 50-grain option uses Sierra’s spitzer pointed flat base (SPT) profile without the Blitz medium-velocity rating, making it a straightforward choice across a broad range of muzzle velocities.

Is this loaded ammunition? No, this is a bare component bullet for handloaders supplying their own brass, powder, and primers.
