The Sierra GameKing .22 Cal Bullets, 65 gr Spitzer Boat Tail (Sierra part no. 1395) are Sierra‘s long-range hunting bullets for .22-caliber rifles, sold 100 to a box for handloaders building their own varmint and predator ammunition. GameKing carries the boat-tail base design Sierra normally reserves for its match bullets over into a hunting bullet, so shooters get the ballistic advantage of that tapered base — reduced drag, higher retained velocity, and less wind drift — in a bullet built to expand on game rather than punch paper. Sierra engineers this line specifically for long-range hunting shots where a flatter trajectory and less drop matter as much as terminal performance.
