The Traditions Outfitter G3 Takedown .35 Remington Scope Package is the scope package version of the Outfitter G3 Takedown, a break-action single shot with a 22-inch barrel (Traditions part no. CR5-351130RT). Traditions builds the Takedown with a patented QD removable forend that releases with the press of a button, so the rifle breaks down for travel and storage. Underneath is the familiar Outfitter G3 layout: a chromoly steel barrel, a steel frame drilled and tapped for a scope base, and an 11-degree target crown. The Elite XT trigger system combines a rebounding hammer with a manual cross-block trigger safety, and the action can be opened with the safety engaged. It is a packable deer rifle in a classic woods cartridge.
