The Taurus 942 .22 WMR with a 2-inch barrel pairs the magnum rimfire cartridge with a short, matte stainless frame (Taurus part no. 2-942M029). Taurus built it as an eight-shot revolver with a serrated ramp front sight and a drift-adjustable rear. The frame, barrel and cylinder share a matte stainless finish, and the double-action/single-action trigger offers either a long or short pull. It is a handy option for small-game and pest control use where a compact rimfire is welcome.
