The Taurus 942 .22 WMR is an 8-shot, small-frame revolver with a 3-inch barrel and a matte black finish (Taurus part no. 2-942M031). It is chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire and is aimed at concealed carry, recreational shooting and skills training. Taurus gives it a serrated ramp front sight and a drift-adjustable rear, and the double/single-action trigger lets the shooter cock the hammer for precision. The eight-round cylinder holds more than the typical five- or six-shot snub revolver. It is a good choice for anyone who wants magnum-rimfire performance in a compact revolver.
