This Smith & Wesson Search & Rescue fixed blade (brand part no. CKSUR1) pairs a 6-inch clip point blade with the same rugged rubberized aluminum handle as the rest of the Search & Rescue line. Manufacturer specifications confirm the blade is a plain single edge, milled from 7Cr17 high carbon stainless steel and finished in black for reduced glare and added corrosion resistance. Deep grooves in the handle keep it secure in wet or gloved hands, and it ships with a ballistic nylon belt sheath that includes a removable storage pouch and a sharpening stone for field maintenance.
