Smith & Wesson’s Search & Rescue tanto fixed blade (brand part no. CKSURT) is a heavy-duty field knife built for hard outdoor use. The 6-inch tanto blade is milled from 7Cr17 high carbon stainless steel and finished in a blackened coating that cuts down on glare and adds corrosion resistance. A deep-grooved, rubber-wrapped aluminum handle keeps grip secure even in wet or gloved conditions, and the knife ships with a ballistic nylon belt sheath that includes a removable storage pouch and sharpening stone, so you have everything needed to keep the edge working in the field.
