The SureFire SOCOM556-RC2 black suppressor is a 5.56mm Fast-Attach can built on the know-how behind SureFire’s USSOCOM contract win (SureFire part no. SOCOM556-RC2-BK). It is optimized for any 5.56mm/.223-caliber weapon with a barrel of at least 10 inches, and SureFire tests its SOCOM suppressors for 100 percent repeatable sub-MOA impact shift and group size. High-temperature Inconel alloy and stainless steel, CNC laser-welded, let it withstand full-auto use, while internal baffling reduces back pressure for host reliability. It eliminates the first-round flash common to most suppressors. SureFire calls it the best overall 5.56mm/.223 suppressor in any environment, and it suits a carbine that gets run hard.
