The SureFire SOCOM556-RC2 Dark Earth suppressor is the tan version of SureFire’s 5.56mm SOCOM-series Fast-Attach can (SureFire part no. SOCOM556-RC2-DE). It is built for M4 and M16-variant rifles and carbines with 10-inch and longer barrels, in a 6.4-inch body of high-temperature Inconel alloy and stainless steel. SureFire’s Total Signature Reduction technology virtually eliminates first-round flash and reduces sound and dust signatures. Internal venting reduces back pressure, cyclic rate and gas blowback to lower operating temperatures. It suits a desert-colored AR build that needs a durable, tool-less-mount suppressor.
