The SSK 50 Receiver (SSK Firearms part no. SSK50A) is a break-action receiver machined for the Thompson/Center Contender platform in SSK’s Flat Side profile, giving builders a serialized stainless-steel foundation for a custom single-shot pistol or carbine. SSK Firearms finishes the receiver in stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and its Contender-pattern interface accepts the wide range of Contender barrels already on the market. As the receiver itself, this is the serialized component of the build, with barrel and stock chosen separately to finish the project.
