The Sierra BlitzKing 6.5mm 105gr Spitzer Bullet (brand part no. 1785) is a 105-grain BlitzKing Spitzer component bullet from Sierra built for handloaders working with 6.5mm cartridges such as 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 Grendel. The BlitzKing was originally developed for Sierra’s Prairie Enemy 6.5 Creedmoor loaded ammunition and later released as a standalone reloading component after demand from handloaders running other 6.5mm cartridges.

Key Specifications

• Bullet diameter is .264-inch, sized for 6.5mm cartridges such as 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 Grendel.
• Weighs a nominal 105 grains.
• Bullet style is BlitzKing Spitzer.
• Sold boxed in quantities of 100 per box.
• Built for explosive expansion, making it a dedicated varmint and predator bullet rather than a big-game hunting design.
• Sierra also markets it as a capable short-range match bullet in addition to its varmint role.
• This is a component bullet for handloading, not loaded ammunition, so you’ll still need your own cases, powder, and primers.
• Always cross-check current load data from the bullet manufacturer or a trusted reloading manual before working up a charge, since published data changes over time.
• It’s good practice to spot-check bullet weight and seating depth with calipers on a sample from the box before running a full loading session.
