The Savage Axis 2 Pro 7mm-08 Forest SP is a left-hand bolt-action hunting rifle with a threaded 20-inch barrel (Savage part no. 33289). The 7mm-08 Remington pairs moderate recoil with a wide choice of bullets, which makes it an easy cartridge to shoot well on deer-sized game. Savage finishes the barrel and action in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote and uses the Forest SP Camo stock pattern on a synthetic sporter stock. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger and an adaptable length of pull let the rifle be fitted to the shooter, and a one-piece 0 MOA rail is already on the receiver. At 6.9 pounds it carries easily for a long day afield.
