The Savage 64 FV-SR .22 LR is a straight-blowback semi-automatic rimfire with a 16.5-inch heavy barrel that is threaded for a muzzle device (Savage part no. 45110). The receiver is drilled and tapped and wears a one-piece scope rail, so an optic goes on without extra bases. A matte black synthetic stock and a detachable 10-round magazine round it out. It is a good fit for plinking, pest control and rimfire practice.
