The Proof Research PXT carbon fiber Sendero barrel blank in .224 caliber measures 22 inches with a 1:8 PXT twist (Proof Research part no. 154144). PXT stands for Proof Exponential Twist, a rifling design that Proof says reduces engraving force and throat erosion. The blank ships ready for your gunsmith to thread and chamber, and it suits custom builders chasing a lightweight, long-lived .224 barrel. A carbon fiber wrap keeps the weight down, which is the reason to pick Proof Research for a precision or hunting build.
