Finished in Realtree Excape camo, the October Mountain Ascent recurve at 40 lb is a 58-inch, three-piece take-down set up for an archer who wants one bow for the range and the hunt (October Mountain part no. OMP81562). Forty pounds adds arrow speed over the lighter limbs while staying comfortable to draw and hold. The riser is a lightweight, durable piece of magnesium with built-in limb pockets and a sleek EZ-Fit grip. October Mountain machine-threads the sight and rest mounting locations, installs a Pro Hunter arrow rest at the factory, and includes a Flemish string and flathead socket-cap limb bolts. It is a right-hand bow.

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes with the bow? The bow ships with a Pro Hunter arrow rest pre-installed, a Flemish string and flathead socket-cap limb bolts.

Is the Realtree Excape version meant for hunting? It is built for both. October Mountain designed the Ascent for recreational archers and hunters, and the Realtree Excape camo finish helps it blend in when the bow goes to the woods.

Can I mount a sight on it? Yes. The magnesium riser has machine-threaded sight and rest mounting locations, so a bow sight and other accessories bolt on directly.
