The Magpul MOE AK Handguard (brand part number MAG619-PLM) is a Plum polymer hand guard built to replace standard AK-pattern hand guards on rifles without a front sling loop on the hand guard retainer. Magpul reinforced the heat-resistant polymer body with an integral, black oxide coated stainless steel heat shield, then cut M-LOK slots at the three, six, and nine o’clock positions for direct-attach lights, slings, and grips. A front lip and long side extensions shield the support hand from a hot barrel while adding gripping surface over the stamped-receiver factory hand guard. It’s a direct, no-modification-needed upgrade for standard AK-47/AKM/AK-74 pattern rifles, finished in a distinctive Plum color.
