Frequently Asked Questions

Is a 14.5-inch barrel assembly legal to buy without paperwork?
Yes — this is sold as a bare complete upper with no lower receiver included, so it’s just a parts purchase. Putting it on a shouldered rifle lower makes a short-barreled rifle; since October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires Form 1 approval or registration for that, but state law still applies, and taking an SBR across state lines needs an approved ATF Form 5320.20.

What’s included with this upper assembly?
The 14.5-inch chrome-lined barrel, F-marked FSB, 2-piece handguard, A3 flattop receiver, chrome-lined bolt carrier, 7075 charging handle, forward assist, and ejection port cover.
