The Kimber 2K11 Comp Royal 9mm (brand part no. 3500095) is a double-stack 1911 with a compensator machined seamlessly into the slide and barrel, built to cut felt recoil and flatten muzzle rise, and finished in Bronze PVD. Kimber builds each 2K11 one at a time by a single technician, and the Comp pairs a 5-inch fluted, ramped, ported barrel with 1:10 5R rifling and a GT match-grade trigger that breaks at 3 to 4 pounds. A carbon fiber and glass grip module with front strap checkering, a tapered magwell and an ambidextrous thumb safety shape the handling, and the slide is cut for a red dot with an RMR-footprint optics plate. It carries 20+1 rounds and ships with three magazines: one 17-round and two 20-round. For a competitor or a high-capacity 1911 shooter who wants a compensated 9mm in a finish that stands out, it is the Royal edition of Kimber’s flagship.
