The Hornady InterLock Bullets in 6.5mm.264 caliber, 129 grains, jacketed soft point (Hornady part no. 2620), are built around Hornady’s InterLock system, which locks the core to the jacket so the bullet expands reliably instead of shedding its core on impact.

Key Specifications

• 6.5mm.264 caliber bullet is sized for 6.5mm rifle cartridges.
• 129-grain weight is a mid-weight 6.5mm hunting choice.
• Ballistic coefficient of .445 gives this bullet a flat trajectory and good wind resistance at distance.
• Jacketed soft point (JSP) style is built for controlled expansion on game.
• Inner grooves strategically weaken the upper section of the jacket for controlled expansion.
• Tapered jacket has jacket thickness precisely controlled for expansion across a range of velocities.
• One-piece core does not separate like a divided core, so the InterLock ring retains more mass and energy.
• Cannelure provides accurate, consistent crimping and works together with the InterLock ring.
• InterLock ring is raised and embedded in the bullet’s core to lock the jacket and core together during expansion.
