The Hornady ELD Match (Extremely Low Drag Match) 6mm 108gr rifle bullet (brand part no. 24561, model ELD-M) is built for .243-class competition rifles, engineered around a Heat Shield tip with an ideal meplat shape for the highest-in-class ballistic coefficient. Hornady pairs that tip with an optimum secant ogive and boat-tail design, and because the Heat Shield tip resists the effects of aerodynamic heating, it retains its shape and delivers the same consistent meplat bullet after bullet, lot after lot. That consistency is exactly what competition shooters need for extreme accuracy at extended range. It ships 100 to a box.
