The Hornady ELD Match 30 Cal 208gr Bullets (Hornady part no. 30731) are Extremely Low Drag Match bullets engineered for the highest achievable accuracy from a .30 caliber rifle. Hornady builds the ELD Match line with a Heat Shield polymer tip that resists the aerodynamic heating that deforms ordinary polymer tips in flight, pairing it with a secant ogive and boat tail design for a class-leading ballistic coefficient. Each box holds 100 bullets, with 15 boxes to the case for high-volume handloaders.

Key Specifications

• .30 caliber / .308-inch bore diameter fits standard .30 caliber match and precision rifles.
• 208-grain bullet weight is a heavy-for-caliber option built for long-range consistency.
• Heat Shield polymer tip resists aerodynamic heating so the meplat keeps a consistent shape shot to shot.
• Secant ogive and boat tail design combine for one of the highest ballistic coefficients in its class.
• Extreme lot-to-lot consistency keeps handloads repeatable across boxes and production runs.
• 100 bullets per box supports extended load-development and match preparation.
• Built for target and competition accuracy rather than controlled-expansion hunting performance.
• Sold as a bare reloading component, not loaded ammunition, pairing with brass, a primer, and a powder charge you select.
• Recommended for .308 Winchester and similar .30 caliber match and precision rifles.
