The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 8-inch SB Mini FDE is a 9mm AR-pattern pistol with an 8-inch barrel, fitted with the SB Mini brace (brand part no. FX9P8SBM-FDE). Freedom Ordnance machines the FX-9 in the USA from billet aluminum and pairs it with Glock-type magazines and AR-15 controls for easy familiarity. A 3-inch faux suppressor at the muzzle gives it the look of a suppressed build, and the free-float M-LOK rail accepts accessories. The 8-inch barrel is a good match for a middle ground between compact size and barrel length for range days and home defense. This example is finished in Flat Dark Earth, one of the colors Freedom Ordnance offers on the FX-9 line.
