The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 AR-pattern pistol with an 8.25-inch barrel is a compact 9mm designed around familiar AR-15 controls and accessories (Freedom Ordnance part no. FX9P8). Its billet aluminum receivers use Type III anodized components, and a 7.375-inch free-float M-LOK rail runs forward under a 3-inch muzzle enhancer. It includes one 33-round Glock-style magazine and a polymer grip. It is a good choice for a range pistol that holds more rounds than most handguns.
