The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 AR-pattern pistol with a 4.5-inch barrel is a compact 9mm that carries a KAK Shockwave pistol brace (Freedom Ordnance part no. FX9P4). It is built around a billet aluminum receiver that is one inch shorter than a standard AR-15 receiver, and it feeds from Glock-pattern magazines. A 3.5-inch free-float M-LOK handguard with handstop and an optic-ready receiver round out the package. It is a short, handy 9mm for the range and for building out with AR-15 accessories.
