Magnum rimfire velocity meets traditional wood-and-steel styling in the CZ 457 American SR .22 WMR (CZ part no. 02403). Its 24.8-inch cold hammer-forged barrel gives the .22 Magnum cartridge room to deliver flat trajectories on coyotes, jackrabbits and other varmints. The muzzle is threaded so a suppressor can be added, and a 60-degree bolt lift leaves plenty of clearance for a scope on the 11mm receiver dovetail. A detachable 5-round magazine and a push-to-fire safety round out a rifle built for the field as much as the bench.

Key Specifications

• Chambering is .22 WMR, a magnum rimfire that reaches farther and hits harder than .22 LR on varmints.
• Barrel length is 24.8 inches, which helps the magnum case burn its powder for steady velocity.
• The barrel is cold hammer-forged, which gives consistent bore dimensions along its length.
• The muzzle is threaded, making this a suppressor-ready rimfire.
• The magazine is a detachable 5-round unit, so reloading in the field is quick.
• The stock is Turkish walnut with checkering, giving a secure hold in cold or wet weather.
• The bolt lifts through 60 degrees, a short throw that clears a scope and speeds up follow-up shots.

Frequently Asked Questions
