The Winchester SXR2 Field .300 Winchester Magnum Rifle is a semi-auto big-game rifle with a 22-inch barrel and a satin Grade I walnut stock (brand part no. 531065133). Winchester built it around a gas piston action that self-adjusts and reduces felt recoil, which is welcome with magnum cartridges. The strong seven-lug rotary bolt handles magnum ammunition. It is made for hunters who want a fast-cycling autoloader with a traditional walnut stock.
