The Barrett MRAD SMR .308 Winchester rifle with a 24-inch fluted barrel and a Black Cerakote finish (Barrett part no. 18514) is the Single Mission Rifle from Barrett, a fixed-caliber version of the MRAD built for shooters who do not need interchangeable barrels. This version is chambered in .308 Winchester, has a 24-inch barrel and is finished in Black Cerakote. It trims weight and length compared with the standard MRAD and keeps about 90 percent parts commonality with it. The free-float barrel, fixed stock with a height-adjustable cheek piece and suppressor-capable muzzle brake make it a practical precision rifle for the range, competition and the field.
