The A-Zoom .224 Valkyrie Rifle Snap Caps, 2-Pack are inert A-Zoom training rounds made for rifles chambered in .224 Valkyrie (A-Zoom part no. 12401). They let you dry fire the rifle without letting the firing pin strike an empty chamber, which is how you tune a trigger pull, practice offhand and cycle the bolt without a live cartridge in play. A patented rubber insert sits where the primer would be and absorbs the firing pin hit. Each pack holds two caps, so you can run drills with one in the chamber and one in the magazine. They also give you a safe way to teach a new shooter how to handle and operate a rifle.
