The A-Zoom .30 Carbine Rifle Snap Caps, 2-Pack (A-Zoom part no. 12225) are inert training rounds sized to the .30 Carbine cartridge. A-Zoom makes them for releasing the firing pin safely and without damage, so a rifle can be dry fired without wear on the pin. They suit trigger-pull tuning, offhand dry-fire practice and smooth bolt cycling drills, and they are a practical tool for teaching new shooters how to handle a rifle. These are training aids, not live ammunition, so they belong in the range bag and the gun safe rather than the magazine of a loaded rifle.
