The Howa Carbon Stalker 6.5 Grendel is a mini-action bolt rifle with a carbon fiber stock and a threaded 22-inch barrel (Howa part no. HCBN65GGRY). The Mini Action 1500 is the smallest Howa action, and Howa lists the Mini Action Carbon Stalker at a starting weight of 4 pounds 14 ounces. It pairs that compact action with a custom carbon fiber stock, an Accublock lug bed and a Limbsaver buttpad. The 6.5 Grendel chambering gives a small rifle low recoil and flat trajectories, so it works for deer, hogs and range practice alike.
