The ASP Defender LE MK-3 Gel Inert Trainer is the practice version of ASP’s Defender LE pepper gel, filled with an inert gel instead of OC (ASP part no. 54921). ASP built the inert line so agencies can train with full operational realism, indoors or out, without subjecting trainees to live exposure. Form factor, functionality, range and capacity match the live MK-3 aerosol. The canister is blue-topped and the actuator is color-coded, so the trainer is easy to tell apart from active product. It is a sensible way to run deployment drills and instructor-led practice with a canister that handles like the real thing.

Key Specifications

• The canister size is MK-3, matching the live MK-3 Defender LE canister it trains for.
• The dispersal pattern is gel, so students practice with the same delivery as the live gel.
• The contents are inert, with no OC, which allows training without live exposure to the spray.
• The canister has a blue top and the actuator is color-coded, so inert and active contents are distinguished at a glance.
• The actuator has a flip-top safety, the same safety feature found on the Defender actuators.
• Canister labeling includes production and lot data, serial number and expiration date for inventory control.
