The ASP Defender LE MK-3 inert trainer in a stream pattern (ASP part no. 54920) is a training canister with no OC inside. It matches the form factor, functionality and performance, including range and capacity, of the live Defender LE aerosols from ASP, so trainees get full operational realism. The blue-top canister allows uninterrupted training indoors or out without subjecting anyone to live exposure. It carries the same flip-top safety and CEW-safe design as the live line, which is made in the USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this canister contain pepper spray? No. It is an inert trainer with no OC, and the blue-top canister and color-coded actuator make it easy to tell apart from active contents.

How does it compare to the live spray? ASP states that form factor, functionality and performance, including range and capacity, are the same as the live pepper spray aerosols, so it handles like the real canister.

Which canister sizes does the inert line cover? ASP offers inert training versions of its MK-3, MK-4 and MK-9 canisters in stream, gel and fog patterns; this listing is the MK-3 stream.
