The Barnett Recruit XP Crossbow (brand part no. BAR78184) sends arrows at speeds that rival top-of-the-line vertical compound bows, in a package built to be genuinely easy to shoot accurately. Barnett rates the Recruit XP at 350 feet per second, and its 150-pound draw weight is cut roughly in half when cocking with the included rope cocking device, making it one of the easiest-drawing crossbows in its class. That lighter effective draw weight also extends the crossbow’s working life across countless shots. Among crossbows, the Recruit XP suits hunters, target shooters, and shooters of all ages and abilities looking for accuracy without a heavy draw.
